If December is full with festivities and cheer, January is the month where winter goes into full gear. The Holidays are over, the weather is usually gloomy as well as the mood...But that doesn’t have to be the case! Here are some of our favorite ways to cope with post Holiday blues:

Embrace the cozy: The recently popular concept of Hygge (a Danish word that reflects the philosophy of genuinely enjoying the making of everyday small moments more special). So, wear your coziest sweater, light a scented candle, curl up with a good book or a movie, make yourself a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy!

Master the art of layering: give those Christmas sweaters a well-deserved rest; it’s time to attend to your wardrobe! And since the weather calls for a warm dress code, no better time than now to get some fresh styling inspiration! Layers are a great way to freshen up your closet, and if you miss some key layering items, no time like now to fill the gaps!

Add bright elements: Nothing like a pop of color to upgrade your look! A pair of shoes in bright blue or a decadent rich burgundy will work wonders for basic and neutral outfits.

For example - the 631 ankle boots in vivid blue will look amazing paired with a straight knee length wool coat, black jeans and a cream turtleneck. The 373 ankle boots would look spot on with a nude oversized sweater and a black leather skirt. Add a black peacoat for an extra layer of warmth.

That way, your January will be cozy and bright!
